WindMate wind meters from Speedtech Instruments are said to be the only wind meters with wind vane, digital wind direction plus cross wind, and head/tail wind readings.
Available in three versions, WindMate 100, 200, and 300, these wind meters measure the current wind speed, average wind speed, and maximum wind speed. The Windmate 200 and 300 feature digital wind direction in degrees and compass points as well as cross and head/tail wind readings, temperature, and windchill.
WindMate 300, in particular, is said to be ideal for agricultural use as it offers relative humidity readings, wet bulb, dewpoint, and Accuweather.com's patented Comfort Index. The humidity sensor doesn't require calibration. The unit's jackknife case allows for the most accurate temperature and RH readings.
The WindMate 200 has a list price of $138; WindMate 300's list price is $220.
