In Its 20th year on the market, Vaquero remains a top-yielding Spanish hybrid onion that is highly resistant to both pink root and Fusarium. Vaquero produces consistent, high-quality, single-centered bulbs that are perfect for onion ring processing.

New to the market this year, Anillo, a full-season, sweet Spanish hybrid, produces highly single-centered bulbs. Furthermore, the variety is well-suited for long-term storage.

In the watermelon department, Diplomat, a crimson seedless triploid, was trialed as NUN 1000. With excellent internal quality, Diplomat is a very productive variety noted for uniformity and generating homogeneous fruits in the 17- to 20-pound range.

A main-season, imperator-type carrot with an excellent disease resistance package is Trooper, a high-yielding and grower-friendly variety. Producing smooth, high-quality roots ideal for cello and jumbo, this carrot is meant for the fresh market. Trooper features a good color profile and root uniformity for a quality packout.
