October 23, 2012

Gary Snyder, vice president of finances for C&O Nursery in Wenatchee, WA, and Dan Bernardo, Dean of the College of Agriculture at Washington State University (WSU), were recently part of a reception held at Washington State University’s Pullman Campus.

The event memorialized the donation of $27 million by the Washington tree fruit industry to WSU. A portion of the funds are allocated for the establishment of the Sunshine Research Orchard, near Rock Island, WA. The University distinguished C&O Nursery as a Benefactor to the College of Agriculture for its donation of $100,000 worth of trees, all of which went to the Sunshine Research Orchard.

Sunrise Orchard utilizes the latest research, growing, and technologically advanced systems and applications for the tree fruit industry.
