Guiding The Cultivator

A vision guidance system not only helps with fertilizing or spraying, it reduces driver stress.

The vision guidance system from Eco-Dan can be used for cultivating, spraying, planting, or fertilizing. The portable guidance system’s camera knows where the center line of the plant row is located, not just where it is supposed to be.

Some of the benefits of the system include a reduction of driver stress, up to 50% increase in tractor speed, no physical contact with plants or soil, cleaner fields by getting closer to the plants, earlier weed control in partially emerged plants, and improved weed control and yield for organic crops.

The Eco-Dan computer converts the multi-image data from the camera into a guidance line. As the center line of the row changes, the computer sends signals to the control valve on the
EZ-Slide Hitch that moves the hitch and the attached implement left or right to stay precisely centered over the row.

I am looking for more information on your camera controlled hitch. I currently use RTK to plant, but I have trouble comming back to cultivate close to the row. I have read some about your system and I am wondering how it works. Do you have and dealers close to North Dakota?
