Additional Pests Added To PyGanic Label

A new formulation of PyGanic EC 5.0II can now be used to control more pests in organic production.

July 8, 2009

A new formulation of PyGanic EC 5.0II, a pyrethrum-based product, from McLaughlin Gormley King Co. can now be used to control more pests in organic production. Some of the additional pests added to the label include aphids, thrips, and leafhoppers. The product is a broad spectrum insecticide that delivers quick knockdown and kill of insect pests.

In addition, the new formulation label now has a “Caution” signal word (an improvement from Warning). It includes chemigation instructions as part of the main label, and it offers added application instructions for indoor use.

Listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute, PyGanic 5.0II also meets National Organic Program requirements. For additional information, go to www.pyganic.com.
