Florida Energy Firm Charged Up About Citrus Biomass Potential

According to Energy Florida, a nonprofit organization that focuses on bringing energy related products and services to market, the Sunshine State has some of the most prolific sources of biomass in the U.S., which can be used not only as fuels, but also as higher value bio-based products.

Given that, the Cape Canaveral-based company is eager to roll out one of its latest endeavors. It’s teaming up with Green Energy Harvesting of Jacksonville, FL, to use its debris-clearing proprietary technology to mulch, collect, and bale vast amounts of renewable citrus biomass materials.

According to Mark Robinson of Energy Florida, the company is setting up a live demonstration at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5 at Evans Properties, located on Highway 70 in Ft. Pierce.
