These calls are designed to inform growers on current pest conditions, discuss approaches to IPM throughout the country, and discuss questions that may arise during the extent of the season. Weed, insect, and disease management as well as thinning and tree nutrition are among the topics addressed throughout the year.

John Aue will serve as the call moderator. He has more than 25 years of experience as a IPM consultant in the tree fruit industry in the Midwest. Experts from Cornell University, Michigan State University, and the University of Wisconsin have served as guest presenters as well.

These calls are a collaboration with the IPM Institute of North America, the University of Wisconsin Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems, and the Wisconsin Apple Growers Association.
