He also served on the Yakima Valley Museum’s board of trustees.

“He felt like it was important that there was representation from the fruit industry on local organizations,” George Allan, former CEO of Allan Bros. Fruit told the Herald-Republic.

Allan joined the Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital board. “I tried to follow that,” he said.
