Produced in support of the rock and roll nutrition show Jump With Jill currently touring the world, The Sweet Beat is an interactive music video about the naturally sweet taste of fruit. This video was funded by the National Watermelon Promotion Board (NWPB) and was shot in Jump With Jill’s Pittsburgh headquarters using an all-Pittsburgh-based cast and crew. The NWPB’s mission is to increase consumer demand for watermelon through promotion, research, and education programs.

As each color fruit is featured, the static background transitions to a school-themed scene through lighting, set, and costuming. As the video builds, the scenes are slowed down and merged to create the swirl of color that should fill plates and shopping carts for a healthy diet.

Viewers interact with the video by making their own “sweet beats” with their two favorite fruits and their own dance moves using the provided audio track at jumpwithjill.com/sweet and the hashtag #sweetbeat.
