New Digital Diagnostic Tool for Berry Growers

What’s wrong with my berry crop? To help answer that question for concerned growers, Cornell University’s Marvin Pritts, a professor of horticulture and small fruit specialist, has created the Berry Diagnostic Tool. This online gallery serves as a pictorial aid to help diagnose physiological disorders and pest problems of berry crops such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.

Within each crop, growers are asked to describe the symptoms of the plant, leaves, canes or laterals, flowers, and fruit. Based on the symptom link clicked, possible pests and diseases of each crop are identified.
