California Association of Winegrape Growers In Search For Excellence

The call for nominations are out for the California Association of Winegrape Growers’ two prestigious annual awards – the CAWG Leader of the Year and CAWG Grower of the Year. The nomination deadline for the awards is Friday, April 25. CAWG is asking for industry members to take a moment to nominate the exceptional people who have demonstrated leadership and a commitment to the well-being of the winegrowing industry.

Award nominations can be made by individuals or organizations using the nomination forms provided by CAWG. The identity of the nominators is not made public, but will be known by the nominee and judges. The nominator can only put forward one nominee per “Award Category,” annually. The nomination forms for each award describes the nomination criteria and submission requirements.

The Awards of Excellence Program will be held on Wednesday, July 23, at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel Valley, in conjunction with the CAWG PAC Golf Tournament. Winners will be invited to attend a dinner and program in their honor, as well as a one-night hotel stay on the same evening.

Award details and nomination forms are available on the CAWG website.
