Farmers Fresh Fruit Company Integrates QR Code Into Clamshell

Farmers-Fresh-Fruit-QR-codeFarmers Fresh Fruit Company has redesigned their label for their California Thomcord seedless table grapes. The design is focused on the California Thomcord brand and a custom designed Quick Response (QR) code. QR codes provide quick access by smart phone or tablet to online information.

“We wanted the QR code to be placed in a way that makes it easy to see and convenient for consumers to scan,” Shane Souza, vice president of sales with Farmers Fresh Fruit Company says.

The QR code will direct consumers to information about the seedless grape variety including recipes, nutritional information and more. The QR code design, by MC Solutions, involves the code embedded into a bunch of grapes, incorporated with the brand logo.

“We feel that QR codes are a user-friendly way to get consumers to more information.” Hilary Mathias of MC Solutions says. “Not only is it convenient but it is also trackable. Farmers Fresh will know exactly how many people are scanning their label and when.”
