Equipment Profile: Weather Data Sensor

Wind Direction Smart Sensor is a research-grade plug-and-play tool for measuring and logging wind direction data. The sensor, developed by Onset, provides a wide range of uses from those looking to build energy to crop management.
The Wind Direction Smart Sensor has shielded stainless-steel ball bearings, a balanced wind vane for smooth response to sudden wind changes, high accuracy wind data averaging, and drip overhang to minimize icing.
The sensor can also be paired with Wind Speed Smart Sensor to collect average wind speed, highest three-second wind gusts, and average wind direction.
