Alion

New from Bayer CropScience, Alion herbicide is now registered by EPA for use in tree nuts and vines, citrus, stone, and pome fruits. Alion enables growers to more effectively rotate modes of action and preserve the utility of weed management technologies. It offers a new single mode of action for control of a wide range of annual grass and broadleaf weeds, including those weeds resistant to glyphosate herbicides, such as marestail and fleabane. Field trials show Alion, applied alone or in combination with other herbicides, can control ACCase-, ALS-, triazine- and glyphosate-resistant weed species.

Treevix

Designed for treating weeds in citrus groves, Treevix herbicide — powered by BASF’s Kixor herbicide technology — provides fast and complete control of more than 60 of the toughest broadleaf weeds, including parthenium (a growing problem in Florida citrus groves), ragweed, pigweed, and lambsquarter. The Treevix formulation is easily tank mixed with other herbicides, including glyphosate, making it a valuable tool in any complete weed control program. Specifically designed for direct post-emergence applications on tree fruit, Treevix is tree-safe and non-volatile. It also provides growers with a wide application window, and has no pre-harvest interval.
