Vintage Nurseries Adds Olive Trees To Product Line

Vintage Nurseries is now offering NursTech Super High Density (SHD) olive trees as part of its inventory. These SHD varieties, which require less crop space for growing, produce several different California extra-virgin olive oil types. Included in the offerings are Arbequina Clone i-18, Arbosana Clone i-43, and Koroneiki Clone i-38.

The Arbequina is known for its uniform ripening and its small, high-yielding olives that thrive even in poor soil conditions.

The Arbosana is a late-maturing, high productivity variety that is resistant to Leaf Drop and cold weather. It produces a spicy oil.

The Koroneiki is a small, warm weather olive that adapts well in high-density orchards. It produces a dark green oil with a complex flavor.
