AgAmerica Lending Banks On Experience To Help Boost Business

Lakeland, FL-based AgAmerica Lending has hired industry veteran Charles “Chuck” Cruse to help catapult the growth of its lending portfolio throughout Florida and the Southeast U.S.

Chuck CruseCruse’s successful 18-year career in agriculture banking and finance began with roles in the fertilizer, chemical, and citrus industries. His experience in agriculture finance includes positions with smaller local banks, large corporate banks, and most recently with one of the largest institutional investment companies in the world. He holds degrees from Valdosta State University and the University of Georgia, where he earned his Master of Science degree in Agriculture Economics.

Cruse’s leadership roles include serving as the current President and State Director for the St. Lucie County Cattlemen’s Association and as the Allied Chairman for the Florida Cattlemen’s Association.

He’s also an active committee member for the Florida Agricultural Financial Management Conference. Additional industry affiliations include the Indian River Citrus League and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

Specializing in loans that use rural, vacant, and agricultural land as collateral, AgAmerica has grown to be among the top 30 largest farmland lenders in the U.S., according to the company.
