New York Registration For Presidio Fungicide
November 18, 2010 Presidio fungicide from Valent U.S.A. Corp. has been registered for use in New York on brassica, cucurbits, grapes, fruiting, bulb, leafy, and root vegetable crops (except potatoes and carrots).
Presidio provides New York growers with a new tool for tough diseases such as downy mildew in grapes and cucurbits, and Phytophthora blight. This fungicide offers wide application timing flexibility and plays an important role in resistance management.
The product has no known tank mix limitations with other fungicides or insecticides. It can be applied via sprinkler or used as a foliar treatment. For resistance management, Presidio must be tank mixed with another fungicide active on the pathogen targeted.
