Online Course For Year-Round High Tunnel Production Tactics

Whether you are a seasoned or a new hoophouse farmer, this six-week, self-paced course will provide you with cropping information, management strategies, and other resources from hoophouse farmers and experts to put you on a path to success.

Participants will have access to recorded presentations with extensive use of pictures and diagrams, previously unavailable detailed written course materials in an easy-to-read format, additional printable materials plus weekly chat/hang-out time with course instructor(s) that have more than 25 years of combined hoophouse/high tunnel experience.

The course is scheduled to begin Jan. 11. Course Instructors are Adam Montri, farmer and owner of Ten Hens Farm and hoophouse outreach specialist, MSU Department of Horticulture and MSU Center for Regional Food Systems; and John Biernbaum, Professor, MSU Department of Horticulture.

The six-week course is self-paced and costs $150.
