National Potato Council Selects Leadership For 2015

At the National Potato Council’s (NPC) 2015 Annual Meeting, held Jan. 9-10, 2015, in Orlando, FL, Dan Lake from Lake Seed, Inc. of Ronan, MT, was elected to serve as NPC’s president for 2015 and to lead the council’s Executive Committee.

NPC delegates also approved Jim Tiede from American Falls, ID, as first vice president and vice president of the Legislative and Government Affairs Committee.

Additional members of the Executive Committee include: Cully Easterday of Pasco, WA, as vice president of the Trade Affairs Committee; and Dwayne Weyers of Center, CO, as vice president of the Grower and Public Relations Committee.

Two new members of the Executive Committee were elected: Larry Alsum of Freisland, WI, as vice president of the Finance and Office Procedures Committee; and Dominic LaJoie of Van Buren, ME, as vice president of the Environmental Affairs Committee. NPC’s 2014 president Randy Hardy of Oakley, ID, will continue to serve on the Executive Committee as the immediate past president.
