Solatenol fungicide offers U.S. growers of a dozen major crops a new option for disease control through several features, including:

• The most potent SDHI available with longer-lasting residual control
• Broad-spectrum control of profit-robbing foliar diseases and soil pathogens, such as rusts, Septoria, leaf spots, Southern stem rot (white mold), apple scab, powdery mildew, early blight and Rhizoctonia
• Flexible application timing and tank-mix compatibility for optimum crop safety and resistance management benefits.

Solatenol fungicide is now available for a wide range of crops including:

Apples, Grapes and Pears
Solatenol will be offered to growers as Aprovia® fungicide in apples, grapes and pears. Aprovia:

• Provides a step change in apple scab control versus current standards
• Tank mixes well with other products
• Exhibits no russeting
• Allows flexible application timing
• Can be used at low rates
• Offers a convenient solo formulation

Aprovia provides control of apple scab, powdery mildew, fly speck and sooty blotch.

Vegetables
In fruiting vegetables and cucurbits, Syngenta will sell Aprovia® Top fungicide, a product combining Solatenol fungicide and difenoconazole, one of the leading triazoles in the world. Aprovia Top helps maximize yield potential and crop quality by:

• Providing the long-lasting residual control that growers demand via its rainfastness and ability to move throughout sprayed leaves, and
• Acting as a resistance management option combining two powerful modes of action to help manage disease resistance

Key diseases controlled by Aprovia Top include:

• In cucurbits – powdery mildew and gummy stem blight
• In tomatoes – Septoria, Alternaria, anthracnose and powdery mildew

Potatoes
Elatus will also be sold as an in-furrow product for improved disease control in potatoes. Both Solatenol fungicide and azoxystrobin are very active against Rhizoctonia species, providing excellent disease control and optimizing yield and quality, resulting in:
• Uniform crop stand
• Enhanced crop health
• Optimized tuber size and quality distribution

Row Crops
Also for use on corn, soybeans and wheat, Solatenol will be marketed as Trivapro™ fungicide, a product that combines three distinct active ingredients – Solatenol, azoxystrobin and propiconazole.
