United Fresh has announced the Washington Conference, which will be held Sept. 28-30 in Washington D.C. The conference offers an opportunity for industry members to gather and meet with key congressional members and top regulatory officials to discuss important issues facing agriculture.

The conference features educational sessions, various networking opportunities, and a Rising Leaders Seminar — a half day educational session designed for industry “up and comers.”

Sessions focus on topics such as preventative control rules, the role of Washington D.C. political media in shaping agricultural policy, global trade issues, and the future of food safety.
