WSU Researchers Win USDA Specialty Crop Research Grants

Washington State University research teams have been awarded approximately $15 million in USDA grants aimed at specialty crops, such as tree fruit, winegrapes, and potatoes. They will get nearly a third of the $47.3 million awarded nationally. The research teams will study everything from science at the cellular level to best practices in orchards and fields.
