Remain Vigilant Against Asian Citrus Psyllid Pesticide Resistance
Lukasz Stelinski, UF/IFAS, cautioned growers at the 2013 Florida Citrus Show that researchers are documenting increasing levels of pesticide resistance in Asian citrus psyllid populations. While the situation is not out of control yet, he said growers must rotate modes of action to avoid increasing resistance to the pest that vectors HLB.
