Lawmakers Need To Hear From Growers On Labor

While both state and federal lawmakers consider a mandatory E-Verify, growers must contact their legislators to let them know the critical importance of a stable agricultural workforce. That’s the message from Mike Carlton, director of labor relations for Florida’s Fruit & Vegetable Association. He says reaching out to lawmakers on this issue is more important than ever.
