Currently, BMSB has been recorded in 14 counties in Washington state, with the majority of finds occurring in the western part of the state, along the Columbia River east to Walla Walla and in Yakima.

“The potential for disruption of Washington’s IPM programs in pome fruit is severe if brown marmorated stink bug establishes at levels similar to the mid-Atlantic states,” Beers and Marshall write.
