Fungicide Now Registered On Additional Fruit And Vegetable Crops In California

The California Department of Pesticides Regulation has granted California registration to Chemtura Crop Protection’s Procure 480SC fungicide for use on 28 additional fruit and vegetable crops. The registration gives growers a new tool for controlling powdery mildew and black spot on crops in the brassica leafy greens, brassica head and stem, leafy greens, tropicals, and hops subgroups.

Procure (triflumizole) is a broad-spectrum foliar fungicide and has been previously approved for a variety of other fruit and vegetable crops including apples, pears, cherries and melons. It has proven to provide outstanding control of common fungal diseases including powdery mildew, scab, leaf spot, and black spot.
