Granted by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Section 24(c) label expands the use of Nimitz to growers using direct-seeded planting practices for cucumbers, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, and okra.

Under the Section 24(c) label, Nimitz can be applied at 3.5 to 5.0 pints per acre through drip irrigation or surface applied and incorporated (band or broadcast). Under direct-seeding practices of the approved crop list, the product must be applied at a minimum of 10 days before seeding. One or two supplemental irrigations are recommended prior to planting.

The Nimitz Section 24(c) label is valid until Dec. 31, 2017. The FIFRA Section 24(c) label in addition to the product container label must be in the possession of the user at the time of pesticide application.
