Omnivorous Leafroller, A Pest In The Vineyard

The omnivorous leafroller is a small moth in its adult stage that is bell-shaped with a snout-like mouthpart and causes damage to several crops, including grapes. It ties leaves together and feeds inside, and it will also feed on flowers and berries.

Populations of the leafroller increase in summer and cause the most significant damage after ripening, when feeding allows rot to enter the fruit at damage sites.
