The front three-pin mounted Wonder Weeder from Harris Manufacturing removes weeds in orchards and vineyards while converting them into green manure. Operating at speeds up to 15 mph in 7- to 20-foot-wide rows, the cultivator incorporates soil amendments and organic matter into the soil for natural composting while improving moisture absorption.
Other features include a replaceable shear bar, the use of structurally engineered high-strength materials in all high-stress areas, tungsten-carbide hard surfacing at critical wear points, and low-profile design for easy operation under low-hanging limbs. Also, unlike tiller-type weeders, it doesn’t throw rocks and debris into the drive/mow row.
