Carrots and onions are two of the most popular and consumed vegetables in the world. Today’s vegetable seed breeders continue valuable work to help feed the demand. The 2023 Hall (NY) Field Days gave us a chance to see that work come to fruition. During my visit to the annual seed trials, I took videos of seed breeders talking about a few unique varieties growers should consider. Watch the videos below to get a taste of each variety.
