Colorado Fruit And Vegetable Growers Association To Host Inaugural Conference

Veggies outsideThe Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association’s (CFVGA) first annual conference is scheduled to be held Feb. 25 at the Renaissance Hotel in Denver, CO. This daylong event precedes the Governor’s Forum on Colorado Agriculture on Feb. 26, also at the Renaissance.

The president of CFVGA is Robert Sakata of Sakata Farms in Brighton. Sakata also is American Vegetable Grower magazine’s 2014 Grower Achievement Award recipient. He will be delivering the opening remarks at the conference.

Some of the topics to be covered include Colorado State University vegetable research, food safety, pest management, and more.
