Vetica and Tourismo (flubendiamide, buprofezin) insecticides from Nichino America, Inc. received registration from the state of California for use on vegetables and cucurbits as well as tree, nut, and vine crops.

Vetica is labeled for use on head and stem brassicas, cucurbits, and fruiting and leafy vegetables and is especially strong on armyworms, loopers, and diamondback moth but also helps manage whiteflies. Tourismo is labeled for use in stone fruits, pome fruits, grapes, and almonds and is especially effective on leafrollers, peach twig borer, and navel orangeworm.
