Video: Take in an Immersive Vegetable Growing Experience

Seminis Vegetable Seeds, part of Bayer’s Crop Science division, recently brought together growers and industry stakeholders from across the U.S., Mexico, South America, Australia, and New Zealand to its Research and Development site in Woodland, CA for an in-depth experience highlighting the breadth of expertise, research and collaboration that helps growers navigate the evolving demands of vegetable production.

According to Seminis, the event aims to connect attendees directly with the people and processes behind the company’s vegetable seed business, including breeders, pathology experts, cell biology teams, quality specialists, and other technical experts. Attendees gained a firsthand look at the extensive work that goes into developing and supporting vegetable varieties (including melons, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and more) before they reach growers’ fields through conversations, demonstrations and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Woodland facility.
