Citrus Canker Added To Actinovate AG Label
Citrus canker (Xanthomonas axonopodis) is the latest disease that has been added to the Actinovate AG label. Trials from UF/IFAS show Actinovate AG has great potential for combating this pervasive disease.
“With citrus canker, in the past two years of trials, we have found Actinovate AG plus the lowest labeled rate of copper hydroxide (Kocide 3000) outperforms a high rate copper hydroxide alone,” said Matt Kowalski, president of Natural Industries. “We have been testing this combination on multiple sites this year and expect to see this same synergistic effect to occur.”
With an overuse of copper products being a persistent issue, Actinovate AG is a new option in the ongoing battle with citrus canker in Florida.
Natural Industries, the manufacturer of Actinovate, has been developing patented, beneficial plant protection microorganisms since 1992.
