During tough times, strength in numbers can help get through the struggles to find solutions. The 2022 Florida Citrus Show held last week in Ft. Pierce provided another opportunity for producers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather, learn, and share. The vibe coming into and leaving the Show is that the “We Believe in Florida Citrus” mantra is alive and well.
More than 400 folks came together at the Havert L. Fenn Center for the 2-day event organized and presented by Meister Media Worldwide, UF/IFAS, USDA, and the Indian River Citrus League.
Attendees had a chance to not only network, but also partake in 30+ educational sessions led by researchers, which included hot topics like:
- Supply chain disruptions and their impact on the industry
- The CRAFT program
- Fruit drop
- and first-hand experiences with SAP Analysis
During breaks, the tradeshow floor — featuring more than 60 suppliers from across the industry — buzzed with activity.
