Fittingly on National Ag Day, a crowd of dignitaries, growers, industry stakeholders, and other interested parties gathered at the UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research and Education Center (MREC) in Apopka to get a first look at the brand new citrus nursery research greenhouse. The ultra-modern $200,000 structure was a gift from Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association’s (FNGLA) Citrus Nursery Division.
A brief dedication ceremony was held to mark the special occasion. Florida Grower editors Frank Giles and Paul Rusnak were on hand for the event.
