AgraQuest Inc. Receives California Registration For Requiem

AgraQuest Inc. announced last week that it received registration from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation for its new insecticide Requiem (Extract of Chenopodium ambrosioides near ambrosioides).

Requiem has demonstrated control of whiteflies, aphids, mites, thrips, and other pests in more than 600 trials and grower demos. It is registered for use on crops including tomatoes, peppers, tree fruits and nuts, brassica, bulb vegetables, grapes, cucurbits, certain leafy vegetables, and more. It has minimal to no impact on beneficial insects.

“Requiem will provide California growers added value in their IPM programs by being exempt from residue tolerances, controlling all lifecycle states of target pests, and managing resistance through multiple modes of action,” says AgraQuest global product manager Sarah Reiter.

First introduced into the Florida market earlier this year, Requiem is available for use immediately in California. Find out more at www.agraquest.com.
