Food chain partnership projects pursue the sustainable production of high-quality fruit and vegetables, and support producers to implement optimized crop protection programs. Producers, food suppliers, and retailers, as partners within these food chain partnership projects, benefit alike.

Bayer CropScience and The Greenery already collaborate on more than 30 projects in Latin and Central America as well as in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Based on these experiences in individual countries, both companies have decided to further expand their collaboration.

“This agreement marks a milestone in our collaboration “, said Dr. Rüdiger Scheitza, member of the Board of Management of Bayer CropScience AG and responsible for Portfolio Management, at the signing ceremony in Monheim.
