Feared Eastern Pest Found In California

Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB), Halyomorpha halys StÃ¥l, was recently found on California’s central coast in an incoming shipment of household items from Pennsylvania, where it is considered a serious pest. The San Luis Obispo County Agricultural Commissioner’s office took immediate action to eradicate the pest by physical removal and chemical treatments.
