New CINNEX Insecticide and Fungicide Earns EPA Registration
Sym-Agro Inc. recently announced it has received EPA registration of CINNEX fungicide-insecticide for use on 93 crops across the U.S., except in California where registration is anticipated for the 2027 growing season.
Sourced and manufactured in the U.S., CINNEX is a powerful, cost-effective solution that deploys multi-site activity and multiple modes of action to destroy a broad spectrum of diseases and insect pests on contact. It provides the safety profile and tank-mix flexibility needed for effective integrated pest management and resistance management programs, is MRL-exempt and can be applied up to the day of harvest.
The cinnamaldehyde active controls a range of key diseases and 85+ insect pests, including powdery mildew, Botrytis, Monilinia, aphids, psyllids, and caterpillars, to protect high-value, conventionally grown crops, including grapes, citrus, pome fruit, stone fruit, berries, tree nuts, hops and vegetables.
Belonging to FRAC Group BM03, CINNEX works through multi-site activity and multiple modes of action against in-season, active pathogen life stages to break the sporulation cycle and attack cell walls and membranes, stopping and preventing the spread of fungal infections. Part of IRAC Group UNE, CINNEX uses multi-site activity and multiple modes of action to cause insect dehydration and suffocation that results in juvenile and adult mortality. It also works through ovicidal activity to reduce egg hatch and survivability, minimizing future pest outbreaks.
