New Uses For Quintec Fungicide In Florida

Florida fruit and vegetable growers have a new tool for powdery mildew control and resistance management. Dow AgroSciences’ Quintec (quinoxyfen) fungicide has received new supplemental labeling for melons, strawberries, peppers, and head and leaf lettuce in Florida.  

Quintec is effective against powdery mildew because of its ability to redistribute around fruit and foliage and form a protective barrier which allows it to reach even hard-to-cover areas.
