Quash is a broad spectrum triazole fungicide containing metconazole, a new active ingredient for tree nuts and stone fruit. It offers control of diseases like blossom blight, alternaria leaf spot, shot hole, scab, brown rot, and more.

It also offers growers tank mix and timing flexibility and short pre-harvest intervals (14 days for stone fruit and 25 days for tree nuts) and is rainfast in two hours.

We asked a representative of Valent your question, and her response is as follows: “Quash Fungicide is registration pending in blueberries as an IR-4 project. Federal registration is expected for this crop during the second quarter of 2010. Research shows that Quash has good activity on Phomopsis twig blight in blueberries.”
