Regalia Biofungicide Receives OMRI Listing

Marrone Bio Innovations’ new fungicide, Regalia (Reynoutria sachalinensis), is now listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). When registered by EPA in May 2009, the product received status for use in organic production under the National Organic Program, meaning organic growers could legally use Regalia.

“We’re happy to offer organic growers the same effective disease control that conventional growers have been employing,” says David Warman, director of sales at Marrone Bio Innovations. “Although not required for use in organic production, this OMRI listing will give organic growers a recognized listing when using Regalia on their certified acreage.”

Regalia helps control several fungal and bacterial diseases, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis grey mold, early blight, late blight, citrus canker, and bacterial leaf spot.
