CERTIS ― Certis Biologicals is introducing several new products and product formulations to the market in 2022, including MeloCon LC, an improved liquid formulation of the nematicide MeloCon. MeloCon LC is available now and approved for growers in states outside of California. MeloCon offers new convenient storage conditions, better shelf life and application rates, as well as application flexibility at pre-plant, at-plant, and post-plant.

LOCUS AG ― In summer 2021, Locus AG announced an expansion to its award-winning soil probiotics with the launch of Pantego, a new line of treatments featuring a proprietary free-living microorganism with a high colony forming units (CFU) count and microbial activity in the soil. The line of non-GMO and naturally occurring microbial soil amendments was developed to provide industry-leading agronomic and environmental benefits, with the potential to increase on-farm return on investment by two to three times.

TIMAC ― The company launched a new foliar micronutrient in 2021, TimaUp (pronounced “TeamUp”), a micronutrient backed with Zn, Mn, B, Cu, and Mo. This is formulated with a naturally chelating seaweed extract, the micronutrients designed to help with macronutrient uptake, with a focus on N to help the plant if any of the micronutrients are deficient. ‘TeamUp’ is certified and compatible with any tank mix for easy foliar application.

SYM-AGRO ― Sym-Agro Inc introduced a new solar protectant product in Nov. 2021 called ECKOSIL Shield Cuticle Enhancer, a soluble ortho-silicic acid formulation specifically designed to alleviate crop abiotic and heat stress and sunburn. It helps to reinforce plant cell walls, creating stronger plants with greater tolerance to abiotic stress, reduced sunburn potential, and improved light absorption, which leads to greater crop quality and marketable yield.

DPH BIOLOGICALS ― TerraTrove, just released in November, is a platform of biofertility technologies built on the company flagship product, SP-1 Classic. SP-1 Classic is a liquid biofertilizer comprised of a diverse community of microbes, plant-based humus extracts, and algae that work together to improve soil structure, make more nutrients available for uptake, and ultimately support yield and productivity.

HELM AGRO ― HELM has a robust pipeline of both biological and traditional crop protection solutions, including two fermentation-based products on track to go through EPA. These products will help growers navigate pests and take pressure off other traditional chemistries. At the same time, the company is continuing to bridge the gap between biological and traditional crop input solutions ― combining the best features of both into high-performing products.

LALLEMAND ― Lallemand has two highly effective EPA-registered and OMRI -listed biofungicides that protect against soil-borne and foliar diseases. LALSTOP K61 WP biofungicide is effective against many root diseases, including those caused by pathogenic species and biotypes of Fusarium, Pythium and Macrophomina. The second biofungicide, LALSTOP G46 WG, is a concentrated, wettable dry granule formulation for foliar spray and soil applications that, like K61, leaves no visible or toxic residues, even after multiple applications.

STEPAN ― Based on novel rhamnolipid technology, ZONIX is an OMRI -listed biofungicide that is manufactured in the U.S. and recommended as a key part of an IPM program. ZONIX is most effective as a preventative treatment for oomycete pathogenic diseases including downy mildew, Pythium, Phytophthora, late blights, and root rots on food crops as well as turf and ornamentals. The product offers multiple advantages to growers including being environmentally friendly, exemption from EPA residue limits, and having no known resistance.

ORO AGRI ― Milagrum Plus is an OMRI-listed, broad-spectrum biological fungicide for preventing and controlling foliar and soil diseases. It contains Bacillus subtilis, a bacterium of the rhizosphere that quickly establishes beneficial colonies on the roots of plants and leaves. It exerts a powerful sanitary effect on the plants and  activates the plants’ defense systems leading to increasing crops’ vigor and yields. SUTERRA ― The company’s mating disruption platform, Puffer, provides safe, effective, and proven results. New for the 2022 growing season, Puffer NOW-O Ace is Suterra’s aerosol pheromone for navel orangeworm mating disruption in organic nut crops, figs, and other crops where the navel orangeworm is a pest. As part of a comprehensive IPM program, mating disruption cuts damage by 50% or more, fights insecticide resistance, and does not harm beneficial insects.

KEMIN ― Kemin is launching two OMRI-listed, foliar spray insecticides in 2022. A contact miticide-insecticide and repellent, TetraCURB MAX, made with a proprietary blend of rosemary-peppermint-clove and castor oils that kill and control mites and soft-bodied insects with a zero-hour REI (restricted-entry interval), zero-day PHI (preharvest interval), and no MRLs (maximum residue limit) on all crops. Kemin is also launching a garlic oil-based insecticide and repellent, Gemsei, that controls more challenging types of pests like lepidopteran.
