Meister Media Worldwide (MMW), the parent company of American Vegetable Grower magazine® and GrowingProduce.com, has been named a national finalist for the 2025 Azbees American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) Awards of Excellence. The high honor is for editorial content featured in American Vegetable Grower’s 2024 State of the Vegetable Industry coverage.

In addition to securing a national finalist placement, MMW took home a gold, two bronze, and a silver award during ASBPE’s regional awards ceremony recently held in Cleveland, OH. ASBPE’s Heartland region, which features publications from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia, is one of eight regions that comprise this segment of the awards program.

Heartland regional winners not only included MMW’s American Vegetable Grower, but also sister brands CropLife and Greenhouse Grower, which were recognized for content innovation, state of the industry coverage, special issue coverage, podcast feature and single topic coverage.

The following MMW brand features were recognized for content innovation, state of the industry coverage, special issue coverage, podcast feature, and single topic coverage respectively.

This year, ASBPE received more than 800 entries, which were judged by 83 experienced B2B (business-to-business) editors, freelancers, designers, and journalism professors. The 2025 National Azbees Awards of Excellence are scheduled to take place virtually on Tuesday, May 27.
