Upcoming Grape Pest Roundtable

The Association of Applied IPM Ecologists and Valent USA are presenting a roundtable discussion of grape pest management issues on November 30 in the Tulare AG Building in Tulare CA. This roundtable has proven to be extremely effective in learning about local and regional issues pertanent to PCAs. Roundtables allow you to share your situation and concerns regarding pest managemnt as well as hear from peers.

The participants will determine the topics of discussion, which may include:
• Mildew control tactics
• Botrytis and rot
• Raisin moth, oblique banded leafroller, European grapevine moth, and other worm problems
• Mealybug control, organic and conventional
• Beetle pests
• Mite problems and miticide performance
• Spider monitoring and control tactics
• Slugs
• Nematodes and soil biology
• Organic spray materials
• Adjuvants
