How To Pick The Best Peach

As part of a federal grant, Clemson University associate professor of pomology (and American Fruit Grower columnist) Desmond Layne, along with his two college student sons, are putting together a series of educational videos about peaches. There will be a full transcript for the hearing impaired. Topics covered will include how to choose the right peach, the difference between a peach and nectarine, maturity assessment, etc. Some will be aimed at the general public and others at growers. When completed, all the videos will be posted on Clemson’s YouTube Channel.
