C&O Nursery Recognized By WSU
October 23, 2012 Gary Snyder, vice president of finances for C&O Nursery in Wenatchee, WA, and Dan Bernardo, Dean of the College of Agriculture at Washington State University (WSU), were recently part of a reception held at Washington State University’s Pullman Campus.
The event memorialized the donation of $27 million by the Washington tree fruit industry to WSU. A portion of the funds are allocated for the establishment of the Sunshine Research Orchard, near Rock Island, WA. The University distinguished C&O Nursery as a Benefactor to the College of Agriculture for its donation of $100,000 worth of trees, all of which went to the Sunshine Research Orchard.
