New Fungicide For California Vegetables

Cheminova announces additional crop registrations in California for KOVERALL, a broad spectrum foliar fungicide.

KOVERALL is used to control apple diseases such as scab, rusts, and other summer diseases. It is also used to protect against diseases in a multitude of crops including potatoes, tomatoes, and sugar beets. With this label amendment, KOVERALL may now also be applied to broccoli, cabbage, and lettuce in California.

“We are pleased that growers now have the option of using KOVERALL on more of their high value specialty crops,” says Deneen Sebastian, Cheminova North American fungicide portfolio manager.

“KOVERALL is a proven performer that provides broad spectrum disease control when applied as part of a preventive fungicide spray program,” she says. “It is a flexible tank-mix partner for many other labeled crop protection products, including Cheminova’s TOPGUARD fungicide.”

Growers should consult their local crop protection dealer to learn more about KOVERALL.

Cheminova, Inc., headquartered in Research Triangle Park, N.C., is the United States subsidiary of Cheminova A/S, a global leader in the production, development and sale of plant protection products. CHEMINOVA A/S is located in Lemvig, Denmark.
