Partnership Brings Fruit, Vegetable Fungicide To The U.S.

Tacoma Ag, LLC has partnered with Agria S.A., a Bulgarian company, and is introducing Fortuna 75 WDG fungicide to the U.S. market.

According to the company, Fortuna offers a unique WDG formulation of mancozeb and is labeled for use in a variety of fruit, nut, and vegetable crops. The fungicide is also labeled in multiple field crops including cereals, peanuts, sugar beets, and hybrid seed corn.

The product can be used to control leaf spot, scab, downy mildew, fruit rot, common rust, and anthracnose among many other plant diseases as indicated on the product label.

“Fortuna has a proven active ingredient delivered in a high quality WDG formulation and is the first of several fungicides that Tacoma Ag will be offering to U.S. growers,” said Bryan Wilson, a managing partner for Tacoma Ag.

The fungicide has been previously marketed and sold by Agria in Eastern Europe, Russia and the Ukraine, South America, and Canada.
